It Might Not Pay The Bills, But Who Cares!

I've been in love with playing bass at such a young age, but it wasn't in the stars for me to become famous and do it as a professional; however, I still have to get out there and perform every week.

Since an early age music has made me happier than anything else. Too bad I wasn't blessed with the pure talent of guys like Dave Mathews, Jaco, or Eric Clapton. I am just like everyone else who wishes they were that good. I had to choose a real major of Mechanical Engineering when I headed off for college, but my degree will have a minor in Music right below it. I've been playing in college level jazz groups for four years now and I couldn't picture my college career without it. I've got a great trio that I play with every Friday night with and it's the best three hours of my week up on stage playing every tune we know. Myles, Trane, Monk, Mingus, Chick, the list will go on and on. Playing music is what I really love to do.
